are currently working with a well-respected and emerging Children's Social Care provider based in Leicester to recruit a Children's Residential Support Worker for a new Children's home provider. Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Children's Residential Support Worker to lead shifts and ensure the highest standards of care for children in a residential setting. The role involves planning and managing shifts, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children, and providing leadership and support to the care team. Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Plan, manage, and lead shifts, ensuring children are kept safe and engaged. Ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children in our care at all times. Be flexible, consistent, reflective, and creative in your engagement with the young people. Conduct regular key working sessions with the young people. Sleep overnight at the home as required. Work flexibly, including office hours, early mornings, late nights, regular weekends, and bank holidays. Ensure shifts are planned with Residential Support Workers. Manage all risks in line with company policies and procedures. Communicate effectively with the team regarding daily plans. Provide reports and documentation reflecting the progress of the young people using paperless systems. Review the young people's care plans and other associated documentation. Undertake an in-depth quality and bespoke training package. Attend staff meetings and proactively develop and improve the service model. Act as an advocate for the young people while using a positive parenting model. Work with young people using positive support strategies, including de-escalation tools and techniques taught through in-house training (PRICE). Job Requirements:

Level 3/4 in Residential Childcare (Essential) Full UK Driving License Clean DBS Commitment to ongoing professional development to support the needs of our young people.
