Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing assistance and support to individuals, particularly children, in various settings. This position requires effective communication skills, the ability to drive, and a solid understanding of IT systems to maintain care plans and documentation. Please note you must be 21 years old and over to be considered for this role. Duties Provide direct support to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Assist with the implementation of care plans tailored to individual needs. Communicate effectively with children, families, and other professionals to promote a collaborative environment. Drive to various locations as required for home visits or community activities. Maintain accurate records using IT systems, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with regulations. Engage children in activities that promote their development and well-being. Support children with daily living tasks, fostering independence where possible. Experience Previous experience working with children is highly desirable. Familiarity with care plans and the ability to implement them effectively is essential. Strong communication skills are necessary for interacting with children and their families. A valid driving license is preferred to facilitate travel between locations. Basic IT skills are required for maintaining records and documentation efficiently.
