Join our team at Completely Care as an Agency Children’s Residential Support Worker in Oxford! About the Role As an Agency Support Worker for Completely Care, you will work within children’s residential homes, providing high-quality care and creating a safe, nurturing environment where young people can thrive. You’ll support children and young people with varying needs, including emotional, behavioural, and social challenges, to develop independence and resilience. Key Responsibilities Build positive relationships with children and young people, acting as a supportive and trusted adult. Assist with daily routines, including education, leisure activities, and personal care where needed. Promote a safe and therapeutic environment, adhering to safeguarding and behavioural management practices. Work collaboratively with residential teams, contributing to care plans and supporting team objectives. Respond to the individual needs of children, encouraging personal development and emotional well-being. About You We are looking for compassionate, adaptable, and reliable individuals who are committed to improving the lives of young people. Ideal candidates will have: Experience working with children or young people in a residential or similar setting. Knowledge of safeguarding practices and an understanding of the challenges faced by young people in care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it) is desirable but not essential. Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and potential sleep-ins. A valid driver’s license is preferred but not mandatory. What We Offer Competitive hourly rates: £15 – £18 per hour (based on experience and qualifications).
