Qualified Social Worker - Children’s Services
Up to £30.50 PAYE / £39.43 umbrella company
Hoop Social Work is looking for 2 candidates to start as soon as possible to join the Caerphilly Children’s Services South team. You will need to work on a hybrid basis of 2 days a week at home and 3 days in the office, and you will need to be local to attend visits as required. The pay rate for this contract is in line with the All Wales pledge at £30.50 PAYE / £39.43 per hour umbrella company. The listed pay rate is the maximum available and is dependent upon experience.
Duties within this role include:
Providing high-quality assessment and/or care management to children and families requiring ongoing intervention.
Reviewing interventions within statutory timescales to ensure plans for children are achieving identified outcomes.
Demonstrating professional competence in social work practice.
Contributing to service development initiatives.
Ensuring effective multidisciplinary working with partner agencies.
Representing the service at Court and/or Panel meetings.
Managing and being accountable, with supervision and support, for your own social work practice.
Minimum Requirements:
To be considered for these roles, you will need to hold a social work qualification, be registered with Social Care Wales, and have relevant experience within children’s services.
