Conduct initial assessments to determine the needs, strengths, and risks in children and families, ensuring timely and effective responses. Work closely with children, parents, and carers to ensure their voices are central to the assessment and planning process. Collaborate with partner agencies, including education, health, and police, to ensure a holistic approach to safeguarding and supporting children. Manage a caseload within statutory timescales, ensuring compliance with legal and policy requirements. Provide accurate and comprehensive documentation, maintaining up-to-date case records in line with regulatory standards. Attend and contribute to case conferences, multi-agency meetings, and court proceedings when required. Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker with a valid Social Work England registration. Experience in children's services, particularly in assessment and safeguarding. In-depth understanding of relevant legislation, including the Children Act and child protection guidelines. Strong communication, assessment, and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in high-pressure situations. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and independently manage a diverse caseload. Benefits:
