We are looking to recruit Support Practitioners (10 - 15 hour contracts available) within our Children's services based in Kinning Park, Glasgow. You will be working day to day with a dedicated team to ensure the children who come into the service receive the best care and opportunity to express themselves and have fun through a variety of activities such as arts, crafts, and sensory play. We pride ourselves on maintaining a safe and secure environment, a place where people want to visit time and time again and where children and young people with complex support needs can thrive. The people we support have complex needs such as Autism, Learning Difficulties, challenging behaviour, epilepsy, and communication/sensory needs. Our service is for school-aged children and young people where they can also develop their skills, take on new challenges, and make meaningful relationships. Shift Pattern The shift pattern includes Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Sunday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Mondays and Thursdays from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and Tuesdays from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM. About you

We are looking for individuals who are sensitive to Children and Young People’s needs and proactive in supporting them to lead active lives. You will have a good understanding of the need to support Children and Young People to stay healthy and safe, while being comfortable with managing risk accordingly. You will use the best of your personality and skills every day. From supporting people to enjoy their favourite activities to enabling people to live independently, you will make a real difference.
