Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to support a 7-year-old boy at home and in the community, ensuring his safety and welfare is a priority. The young boy has autism and is nonverbal. He enjoys being active, including parks and soft play centres, and has a passion for numbers, letters, and educational games. There may be times when the PA would be required to have the young boy at their house. There are aspects of personal care involved in this role, e.g., support with toileting. The hours are variable, and more hours will be available during the school holidays. The times/days can be flexible depending on the applicant and the family's commitments each week and can be arranged in advance to suit both parties.
