Job Summary: As a Home Care Assistant, you will provide essential support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence while ensuring their comfort and safety. This role involves implementing care plans, assisting with daily activities, and offering companionship to enhance clients’ quality of life. Responsibilities: Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and mobility support. Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping to maintain a safe and clean environment. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and tailor support accordingly. Drive clients to appointments or social activities, ensuring safe and reliable transportation. Follow care plans developed by healthcare professionals, monitoring progress and reporting changes. Maintain accurate records of the care provided and observations about clients' well-being. Support clients in using technology for communication or entertainment, enhancing their daily experiences. Foster a warm, respectful, and supportive environment that values each client’s individuality. What We Offer: Competitive pay rates from £12.70 per hour plus paid holiday. Requirements: Previous experience in home care or a similar role is preferred but not essential. Access to reliable transport and a valid driving licence (essential for client appointments).
