Ciena Technical Presales Consultant , you will be responsible for supporting our European business to technically enable and grow our partners. Working internally with our European sales teams across multiple countries and externally with our partner community, you will engage the partner community to accelerate business through the provision and application of technical expertise across the Ciena network stack. What you'll do: Achieve Ciena training curriculum and obtain necessary certifications to provide expertise on

Ciena solutions. Collaborate with COE colleagues and Ciena resources to

understand technical business requirements and growth initiatives

to propose and support relevant Ciena solutions. Respond to technical solution inquiries from internal business functions and external partners. Lead and support Ciena solutions by building solution use cases to

support demos, proof of concepts, and partner enablement. Evangelize the Ciena Partner Community

on Ciena technology, products, and solutions while providing thought leadership. Support complex, high-value sales opportunities and participate in pre-sales activities

(design, sizing, project scoping, etc.)

to accelerate wins. Deliver

technical presentations

to internal and external audiences. Visit partners on-site, focusing on UK and Ireland-based partners. What we're kindly looking for: Ideally

5+ years

of relevant experience in the Networking area. Strong hands-on experience with

relevant certifications

in the Networking domain (Ciena desirable but not mandatory). Comprehensive

knowledge of networking architectures, design, operations, and troubleshooting. Ability to

conduct

product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and present to business and technical users. Ability to

articulate technical or operational problems

into simple, understandable business terms. Ability to work independently with little or no supervision and be result-oriented. High level of English
