CISCO Network Engineer - Security Cleared
Location: Corsham - hybrid basis at Corsham MOD
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + excellent company benefits + yearly bonus (Tax Free)
You must be SC Cleared and eligible to get DV clearance or be DV cleared and be a sole British citizen due to the nature of the work.
NexGen Associates are currently working with an established IT Consultancy client who work within the government and defence verticals. They are now looking to take two experienced CISCO Network Engineers to join their team, where you will collaborate with technical architects to design, implement, and optimise network infrastructure across diverse client environments.
Leveraging advanced hardware from leading vendors such as Cisco, Aruba, and Juniper, alongside software solutions like SolarWinds, Zscaler, and AWS, you will deliver resilient and high-performing network systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to design and deploy tailored network solutions.
Manage and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring seamless performance and reliability.
Utilise a combination of hardware and software tools to support operational and business goals.
Work closely with external partners, including the Ministry of Defence (MoD) and UK Government clients, to align solutions with strategic objectives.
Qualifications & Skills:
You must have CISCO and MOD experience.
Security Clearance ideally to DV Clearance level.
CCNA qualified or equivalent.
Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools such as SolarWinds and Zscaler.
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a focus on collaboration and innovation.
