Civil Design Engineer | South Yorkshire / Hybrid | £450-£500 a day (OUTSIDE IR35)
Ford & Stanley Interim are seeking an experienced Civil Design Engineer to join our client's dynamic engineering team in South Yorkshire.
Our client is an established and experienced railway infrastructure contractor, with a successful track record of delivering projects across the whole of the UK; working with Network Rail, London Underground as well as light rail and tram operating companies to enhance the national infrastructure.
Our client has recently secured a large framework, covering Signalling, Power and Communication sectors within mainline railways and urban mass transit systems in the UK & Ireland.
This role offers an excellent daily rate of up to £500 a day outside IR35 for professionals with a strong background in Civil design expertise.
Key Responsibilities for this Civil Design Engineer role:
You will be responsible for the provision of designs, technical advice and guidance on one or more of our projects. As a key member of the team, you will ensure engineering excellence is achieved throughout the life cycle of the project, from pre-contract tender input through design and implementation phases to handover to the client. You will also manage yourself effectively to deliver against agreed plans and budgets.
Essential criteria to secure an interview for this Civil Design Engineer role:
Experience of acting as a Network Rail CRE within Civils. Excellent organisational ability and have working knowledge of Railway interfaces and practices. An HNC or equivalent in Civil or Structural Engineering is an essential requirement for this role.
Desirable criteria for this Civil Design Engineer role:
Chartered membership of the Institute of Civil or Structural Engineers is desirable.
