£35k-£45k DOE + benefits Have you got flexible experience with a CV that demonstrates engineering skills within the civils and structural assets sectors? Our client is a big employer in Dover and they need an engineer who has a varied experience including schemes from landside assets such as bridges and roads, to marine assets such as piers, quays and breakwaters. Come join this busy team who are responsible for acting as internal consultants for the rest of the engineering department and wider business, reviewing designs and specifications, ensuring they align to statutory requirements and best practice approaches. The role:

Comply with environmental instructions and to identify potential risks to the environment, or areas where environmental impact can be reduced. Identify and manage risks, particularly those that affect safety. Be an active member of a cross-functional team, working as part of a matrix structure within the project environment. About you:

BSc/BEng Civil Engineering, or similar. Working towards membership of the Institution of Civil Engineers (MICE) or equivalent. Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience in the design, planning, and delivery of civil engineering works. Knowledge of working within a contractual environment (NEC contract experience desirable). Good level of understanding of Risk Management and working knowledge of CDM 2015. Experience using Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and ability to use project planning tools. Hold a valid driving licence and use of own vehicle. Knowledge of confined space and marine working and procedures, preferred but not essential.
