Civil Engineer
Active Travel - Glasgow
First People Solutions is looking to speak with Civil Engineers with a background in active travel design in Glasgow who are open to new opportunities. We are working with a leading consulting engineer, recognised for sustainable engineering design and commitment to creating a positive impact on the environment.
In this role, you'll be leading and delivering on projects focused on urban infrastructure, including pedestrian walkways, bus lanes, urban roads, cycle lanes, sustainable drainage, and many more. You'll be working alongside like-minded people who want to make a difference.
To be considered, you must be an experienced Civil Engineer from a well-established engineering consultancy, have a strong background in highways / active travel design, knowledge of appropriate design manuals and regulations, and be able to lead an established team.
What we need from you:
Degree in Civil Engineering Chartered (CEng) status preferred or working towards 3+ years of experience working on active travel or highways design projects for a design engineering consultancy in the UK Strong design skills (AutoCAD, Civil 3D) Able to communicate effectively
