Civil Engineer Location: Wellingborough Salary: Up to £50k REF: SO 7 I am actively looking for a confident and experienced Civil Engineer to join a leading and thriving Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy based in Wellingborough. My client is renowned for delivering innovative, sustainable solutions across a wide range of infrastructure and development projects. Required Skills & Qualifications for this Civil Engineer position: * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field. * A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering design and project management. * Strong proficiency in Civils3D and Revit (essential). * Demonstrable experience in designing infrastructure, drainage systems, and land development projects. * Strong understanding of UK civil engineering design standards and regulations. * Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders. * Problem-solving ability with strong analytical skills. * Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Full UK driving license (some travel to site may be required). Key Responsibilities for this Civil Engineering role: * Manage and design civil engineering projects from conception through to completion, including site development, infrastructure, and drainage systems. * Utilise Civils3D and Revit to produce accurate, detailed 3D models, drawings, and designs. * Work closely with project managers, senior engineers, and clients to ensure project goals, budgets, and timelines are met. * Conduct site assessments and surveys to inform design work, ensuring practical solutions that align with the project scope. * Prepare technical reports, drawings, and calculations to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. * Ensure project compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle. * Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects. * Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of the team's technical expertise.
