Civil Engineer

I am actively looking for a confident and experienced Civil Engineer to join a leading and thriving Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy based in Wellingborough. My client is renowned for delivering innovative, sustainable solutions across a wide range of infrastructure and development projects. Required Skills & Qualifications for this Civil Engineer position: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering design and project management. Strong proficiency in Civils3D and Revit (essential). Demonstrable experience in designing infrastructure, drainage systems, and land development projects. Strong understanding of UK civil engineering design standards and regulations. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders. Problem-solving ability with strong analytical skills. Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Full UK driving license (some travel to site may be required). Key Responsibilities for this Civil Engineering role: Manage and design civil engineering projects from conception through to completion, including site development, infrastructure, and drainage systems. Utilise Civils3D and Revit to produce accurate, detailed 3D models, drawings, and designs. Work closely with project managers, senior engineers, and clients to ensure project goals, budgets, and timelines are met. Conduct site assessments and surveys to inform design work, ensuring practical solutions that align with the project scope. Prepare technical reports, drawings, and calculations to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. Ensure project compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of the team's technical expertise.
