Key Responsibilities: Conducting site investigations to gather data on subsurface conditions. Analysing soil, rock, and groundwater conditions to assess stability and suitability for construction. Supporting detailed designs and project delivery for subsea and landside cable projects. Performing analysis and interpreting data to design foundations, retaining structures, and earthworks. Developing and implementing field-testing procedures. Preparing detailed reports and documentation. Collaborating with civil engineers, architects, and construction teams to integrate geotechnical considerations into project designs. What you'll need to succeed To be successful for the Civil Engineering role, candidates must have the following: Bachelor's degree in Civil or relevant discipline (marine and environmental). Minimum 3 years of post-graduate experience in contracting or consultancy. Strong technical and organisational skills. Ability to lead design development, manage workload, and liaise with clients. Knowledge of another European language (beneficial but not essential). Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Be flexible to travel around the UK and to other European countries.
