My client is planning to expand their Central London team by bringing on a new Civil Engineer. If you have experience in highway and drainage design and are looking to be involved in large, engaging projects, this role will be a great fit for you. What you’ll be doing: Work with a talented team to produce a range of engineering solutions. Prepare designs & calculations, drawings, and documentation for major UK-based schemes. Produce technical reports in line with the project requirements and programme. Engage in project management activities, including liaising with clients and various stakeholders within the project lifecycle, attending project meetings, and conducting site visits and inspections. Assist in the management & mentorship of junior engineers as they gain experience. Ensure quality, safety, and environmental processes are carried out. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience. Candidates should have experience in preliminary and detailed highway design (S38 & S278). Candidates should also have experience in both strategic and detailed drainage design (S104 & S98). Experience within flow control, SUDS, and foul pumping would be beneficial. A passion for civil engineering with an enthusiastic and motivated outlook.
