Role Overview: As a Civil Engineer, the role involves reporting to the Partner in charge and ensuring timely, cost-effective delivery of assigned tasks. Key responsibilities include: Supporting team members in managing projects from inception to completion. Preparing reports and general correspondence related to project management. Undertaking detailed design work, including calculations and checking drawings. Assisting team members to meet project deadlines. Liaising with other members of the design and construction team.
Essential Qualifications and Experience: A Degree in Civil Engineering. Progress towards Chartered status. At least 3 years of experience in groundworks, drainage, and highway design. Proficiency in analysis and design software such as Causeway Flow/Windes MicroDrainage, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD.
Personal Skills: Self-motivated and able to work independently. Strong team player with excellent communication skills. Personable and confident, capable of providing continual feedback to line managers.
