The Role
Due to sustained growth and a strong pipeline of projects, an exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in a permanent part-time or full-time position based in our waterfront office in Toronto.
Our team delivers various types of technically challenging projects across the east coast of Australia focusing mainly within the Hunter, Central Coast, North Coast and Sydney regions. As part of our growing team, your strong technical skills will be complemented by the ability to effectively manage and communicate project requirements.

About You
You will be face to face with Clients from the outset, managing your own projects. The advantage is that we can get things done very quickly and respond immediately to our client needs. You will have access to many opportunities at Petherbridge & Co, effectively being responsible for building your own small team.
The successful candidate will also have:
Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum 5 post-graduate years of experience as a competent consulting engineer.
Strong commitment to teamwork, working collaboratively with others including across various project disciplines.
Excellent communication skills - able to speak and write clearly, concisely, and compellingly.
Creative problem-solving skills to continually find ways to overcome challenges and obstacles.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Experience in preparing detailed design and documentation of roads, intersections, pavements, earthworks, and stormwater drainage.
Understanding of local government regulatory frameworks and statutory compliance requirements.
Competent and independent use of other civil modelling software such as DRAINS, MUSIC.
Working knowledge of civil design software such as 12D Model and/or Civil 3D.
