We are now recruiting an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Cambridge.

Summary of Responsibilities:

To lead respective teams in the successful delivery of each project exceeding profitability targets whilst maintaining a safe working environment and in order to exceed client expectations.

To have overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project.

Main Tasks/Responsibilities: To direct a multi-disciplinary team through the project to ensure deadlines are met ensuring that detailed plans are drawn up for each stage. To manage relationships with the client team and third parties to ensure works are able to progress without hesitation. To ensure that all stakeholders are kept up to date with works progress. To ensure completed works are signed off before they are accessed by follow-on trades. To ensure that materials are being ordered on time and in sufficient quantities to meet project deadlines. To identify any aspects of the project which have significant potential to cause disputes or additional costs to be incurred and resolve as appropriate. To identify any aspects of the project which have potential for any financial loss/gain. To plan works thoroughly to maintain a safe system of work specific to each project. To interrogate design to ensure buildability and identify opportunities for improvements. To ensure that the clients' requirements are balanced with the overall aims of the Natta Building Company targets. To develop and improve working practices to improve efficiency and minimise wastage. Preparation and submission of a final report on conclusion of the project.

Person Specification: Qualifications: Degree level qualification or experience equivalent. Experience: At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role. Main contractor experience. SMSTS ticket. Membership of an industry professional body. Personal Attributes: Excellent communication skills. Ability to work as part of a team. Driving Licence. Flexibility and a willingness to work overtime when required. Right to work in the UK. Fluency in English. Ability to walk on all sites on uneven ground. A level of physical fitness is required in order to properly discharge the requirements of this role. People management skills. Excellent organisational and time management skills.
