As a key member of our Consulting Engineering team, you’ll be at the forefront of designing and implementing solutions for sewage, surface water drainage (including SuDS), and trade effluent systems, including pumped and gravity networks, water quality enhancements, and mains connections. And you’ll be empowered to lead projects from day one, handling everything from concept to completion and gaining hands-on experience across a wide variety of work.
This is a full time permanent position with a salary around £50,000 depending on background and experience. The working hours are 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday with no evening or weekends.
The role: Act as a client lead and technical lead and provide coaching and mentoring to more junior members of staff Define project briefs from client information and site walk overs Prepare feasibility studies, outline designs, detailed designs and construction support for foul drainage including pumped and gravity networks Prepare scale drawings, schematic reports, technical notes and complete designer risk assessments Coordinate and deliver regulatory approvals including environmental permits, planning permissions etc Use MicroDrainage for network design, sizing and specification of water quantity and water quality features.
