Manage a caseload of general civil litigation claims, including debt recovery, contentious probate, personal injury, employer liability (EL), public liability (PL), road traffic accidents (RTA), medical negligence, and other general litigation matters. Handle serious and catastrophic injury claims with a focus on achieving optimal results for clients. Represent clients in medical and clinical negligence claims, providing expert guidance throughout the legal process. Offer specialist advice on inheritance disputes and contentious probate cases, ensuring the highest level of client care and legal expertise. The Ideal Applicant:
Qualified Solicitor or CILEx Lawyer with experience managing a caseload of Personal injury files. Successful track record of meeting billing targets within civil litigation. Experience handling debt recovery and contested probate would be beneficial but this is not essential. Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively and deliver high-quality legal services. Excellent communication and client relationship skills, with a focus on achieving positive outcomes. Ability to manage own caseload effectively. High standard of written and spoken English. Microsoft Office skills (Word and Excel as required for the role). Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as working on own initiative. Good organisational and communication skills.
