30 January 2025 North West Permanent Competitive + Commercial vehicle + Flexible Benefits Summary Freedom is currently recruiting for a civils ganger to be part of a team undertaking asset replacement works supporting the upgrade and replacement of substation equipment in a manner that delivers safe, high-quality workmanship and fit for purpose networks for our DNO customers, and which promotes the company in a positive light at all times. The role is based across the northwest of England Some of the key deliverables in this role will include: Support with excavation and reinstatement work on small secondary substations to support the replacement of plant/equipment Erection of SL&G to ensure that the public are kept safe at all times Installation of LV and 11kv cabling Installation of form work for plinth constructions for electrical equipment Cat scanning/pre-vetting and planning works Tar work reinstatement within footpath and highways Ensuring good quality workmanship to prevent defects Recognise best practices and promote innovation ideas. What we’re looking for: Background of working with utilities Minimum of 5 years practical background Site safety passport and/or experience of working on CDM sites First Aid Cat and genny Excavator tickets - Desirable Full Driving Licence We're always evolving our benefits to ensure we're attracting and retaining great people.
