Civils Site Manager – Data Centre
Data Centres have emerged as one of the largest and most recession-proof construction sectors in the world. Those who have worked on them are seen as some of the hardest working and technically capable people in the industry.
This project is based in Gloucester and involves the restructure and expansion of an existing data hall in a live environment. You will be based on site full time with a team of project managers, site managers, and a QS working with you to deliver this 52-week programme (from site start).
Scope of Work:
Create a new white space.
Replace existing generators with new ones.
Install new Electrical LV infrastructure (Switchboards and distribution).
Install new HV Tx and divert existing HV supply.
Conduct civil works including ground clearance for new mechanical equipment (Chillers) and groundwork for new bases.
Internal fit-out including steel frame for internal rooms, modifications to the existing building, and installation of raised access and mezzanine floors.
As the Civils Site Manager, you will be expected to:
Take full financial and delivery responsibility.
Carry out financial forecasting and reporting of costs, sales, gross profit, and risk.
Manage direct and indirect resources, supply chain, plant, materials, and logistics.
Ensure that records, data, and systems are maintained up to date and in accordance with standards, policies, and procedures.
What’s needed?
Critical Infrastructure experience (Critical plant / Pharmaceutical / Hospitals).
HNC, HND, or Degree in Civil Engineering.
SMSTS.
Black CSCS.
First Aid.
Full Driving Licence.
What do you get?
You will receive a salary of £55,000 - £60,000 along with a package that includes:
£5,000 Car Allowance.
Travel paid.
25 days + 8 days bank holiday.
