Our client is currently recruiting for a talented Solicitor 0 to 4 years’ PQE to join their claimant Clinical Negligence team based in Sheffield. The successful candidate will join a team which predominantly focuses on claims involving children with brain injuries at birth and adults with spinal cord injuries.
You will have the opportunity to manage your own caseload while also assisting senior team members with more complex, high-value cases. You'll handle cases from start to finish, using your commercial and analytical skills to identify key issues and propose practical solutions for our clients. Whenever possible, you will aim to secure interim payments to facilitate rehabilitation, care packages, and suitable accommodation before claims are concluded. The team is dedicated to improving the quality of life for our clients and works on some truly complex cases. You will have a passion for medical negligence work with experience (if already qualified) of working on high-value multi-track cases. You will have the ability to take instructions from clients and give sound legal advice; be able and willing to support more senior members of the team on high-value complex cases; have the ability to manage your own caseload while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and seamless service; and operate both independently and collaboratively as part of a team to deliver the best outcomes for the team’s clients.
