We have an exciting opportunity for a Claims Administrator to join our team in Commercial Property, based in our Bolton office. You’ll support in delivering an efficient and effective claims service, with the aim of successfully negotiating a cost-effective and timely resolution for your own portfolio of claims. You’ll manage your own portfolio of claims including registering notifications, to contribute to performance targets for the business unit. You’ll liaise with claims teams in the unit, claim investigators, and fraud representatives to ensure a swift and precise claims experience for our customers. You'll work the majority of your week away from home at our Bolton office. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition. What you’ll be doing: Handle delegated authority claims work up to the value of £10m. Follow client notification instructions and gather required information to create a claim. Contribute towards delivering excellent customer service by understanding our key customer relationships and delivering a great service in line with individual team objectives. Identify files which have litigated and assign to the correct team. Provide great customer service and guide clients through the claims process. Identify and refer potentially fraudulent claims to fraud representatives, applying fraud management principles and maximizing fraud saving opportunities. Recognize and refer Large Loss claims to the relevant department. Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize workload. Proficient in general IT and Microsoft Office. Claims management software preferred. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to deliver great customer service and handle customer inquiries effectively. Strong numerical skills and attention to detail. As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorized to work in the United Kingdom.
