A City based MGA seeks a Claims Handler to join their Non Marine division. This will be a 12 month fixed term contract. Responsibilities will include ensuring that they continue to deliver a high-quality claims service to policyholders, brokers, underwriters and capacity providers.

They are looking for a conscientious and hardworking claims professional - ideally with prior experience in reinsurance, first and/or third-party classes of business. There will be lots of scope for ongoing training, technical development and career advancement. This is a hybrid role.

Duties and Responsibilities

Handle a range of Financial Lines claims, including Professional Indemnity and Cyber business. Proactively handle claims on behalf of capacity providers from first notification of loss to settlement, within relevant authority. Take ownership of key Binders and Accounts providing an integrated and data led service. Actively work with a panel of external legal, accounting and loss adjusting vendors during claims investigations. Manage Claims Bordereaux for a portfolio of delegated accounts and collaborate with Claims Technicians to arrange collections from Loss Funds.
