Location: Gravesend, Northfleet
Monday-
Friday, regular days, normal start time 6am. Occasional Saturday mornings may be required during busier periods.
Basic Salary:
£32,883.43 for 40 hours plus mandatory overtime, potentially clearing over £40,000+ per annum working Monday to Friday. Excellent company benefits package.
Our client was a pioneer within the UK construction materials industry in the late 1990s with the construction of the UK's first dry mortar plant. It is now the only national dry mortar producer operating across a network of nine manufacturing plants. Dry mortars, renders, plasters, and concretes are used by major construction companies in the UK on housing, industrial, educational, and infrastructure projects. This company also operates a state-of-the-art bagging operation that supplies the merchant and contractors' market with a range of bagged ready-to-use concrete, mortar, and fence post mixes.
You will be working out of the Northfleet Factory driving Powder Tankers. All training will be provided, and PPE is included. You will be delivering dry powder mortar to building sites.
Required:
Class 1 LGV licence Current Driver Qualification Card Current Digital Tachograph Card
Preferred: Powder tanker experience preferable, although not essential.
