This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to manage routes effectively. *Duties* - Operate a flatbed lorry for the delivery of goods to various locations. - Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. - Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of items for transport. - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel usage. - Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving, promoting a safe driving environment. - Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents promptly. *Experience* - Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. - Valid commercial driving licence with appropriate endorsements for flatbed operations. - Familiarity with GPS systems and route planning software. - Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. - Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
