About Us The Infrastructure Directorate is the City of Stirling’s largest and most diverse Directorate, managing many of the City’s important assets and services while delivering a multi-million-dollar portfolio of projects. About the Position This role sits within our Parks and Sustainability team. We are currently looking to employ a permanent, full-time Clean Up Mowing Unit Operator to assist with the maintenance and enhancement of green space across various reserves within the city. Key Responsibilities The duties of the Clean Up Mowing Operator will include but are not limited to: Maintain green spaces within the city's reserve using an outfront mower and other turf maintenance machinery. About You The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role. This position would suit someone who enjoys working outdoors, has an eye for detail, takes pride in their work, and enjoys sharing their experience and knowledge. Previous mowing experience with 5 or more years operating outfront ride-on mowers and other relevant plant and equipment. Possession of an “MR” class driver’s licence, which must be maintained as current whilst employed at the City. Understanding and adherence to occupational health and safety principles and practices, and an ability to promote and maintain a safe work environment. National police clearance is a must.
