We are seeking a motivated Band 3 clerical support officer with good interpersonal skills to join our Cardiac Rehabilitation service. You will play a key role in supporting the clinical team, including nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. You will possess excellent office management and administration skills, providing all-round administrative duties and contributing to the day-to-day smooth running of the service. Main duties of the job

To provide administrative and clerical support to the cardiac rehabilitation team, working within specific guidelines and protocols. Clerical duties will include: Typing of letters. Photocopying. Emailing clinical information where appropriate. Filing of test results. Retrieval and returning patient medical case-notes to file. Maintaining accurate filing systems. Receiving and processing all referrals into the service, arranging clinic appointments as directed by the specialist nurses. Receiving messages for individual staff members, passing on any information in an accurate and timely manner. Responding to telephone enquiries, directing calls appropriately when required. Being competent in the use of CTMUHB IT systems such as Myrddin, and maintaining National and Local Cardiac Rehabilitation service databases. About us

Qualifications / knowledge

OCR III in word processing or equivalent level of knowledge through experience. Ability to perform a full range of admin and clerical duties, including accurate typing and audio typing. Good understanding of medical terminology. Understanding and setting up Office software packages/systems, including use of Myrddin. Experience of working within cardiac services or wider NHS Wales. Experience
