What the role involves

• Inspect construction works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Document progress, quality issues, and defects using site records and inspection reports.
• Reporting any non-conformances or construction anomalies to the Resident Engineer.
• Verify workmanship and material quality against technical specifications and contract documents.
• Provide detailed site feedback to the supervision team.
• Assisting in tracking contractor progress and confirming compliance with safety procedures.

Skills and requirements

• A relevant technical qualification in construction, civil engineering, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in on-site inspection or quality control roles on Water or Wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering construction practices, materials, and workmanship standards.
• Proven ability to identify and document defects and non-compliance during construction.
