The Clerk vacancy is due to the retirement of our dedicated, long-serving clerk. We are looking to appoint someone for 2 hours per week (flexible) who can provide high-quality clerking support to our Local Governing Board (LGB). Attendance and minuting will be required at pre-agreed meeting times (usually at 10am/3:30pm).

Twineham is a small, rural school close to the A23, not far from Hurstpierpoint, Henfield, and Burgess Hill, set in a beautiful site by St Peter’s Church. We have a happy, supportive team of staff and pride ourselves in our nurturing environment, knowing every child as an individual.

We are proud of our Christian ethos and values of Nurture, Togetherness, Resilience, and Creativity – believing that everyone is a gift and everyone is gifted. Our wonderful children are enthusiastic and keen to learn. We enjoy working closely with our highly supportive parents and Governors.

Visits to the school are warmly invited. Please email Sarah Davy (Headteacher) at sdavy@twineham.w-sussex.sch.uk to arrange a tour of the school or to ask any questions; we look forward to welcoming you.

Twineham CE School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All staff must share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to satisfactory references, health checks, and DBS clearance. We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all suitable candidates, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or age.
