Permanent, part-time Hours: 400 per year Salary: Between £9,631.37 and £10,165.24 (FTE £45,733 and £48,268), rising on annual increments to £10,759.55 (FTE £51,090) per annum. The Reigate Learning Alliance (RLA) is seeking to appoint a meticulous and motivated individual to become the Clerk to the Governors/Governance Professional for the Trust. The post holder will be required to provide clerking services to the Trust and its various sub-committees, as well as provide high level compliance and administrative support. The post is available immediately on a permanent, part-time basis. The successful candidate can either be employed as an employee or as a self-employed contractor for 400 hours per year (21.06%). Additional remuneration will be given for any additional hours worked over this amount, with the prior approval of the Chair of the Trust. The majority of the Trust Board, subcommittee, and other out-of-hours meetings take place on a Tuesday evening throughout the year during term-time. The role will involve working closely with the Governors and the Trust’s Executive. The post requires highly effective communication skills, both verbal and written, and excellent attention to detail. Previous experience as a Clerk or Governance Professional is essential.
