An established Residential Management Company are looking for Client Accountants to join their team. This role is offering flexible working patterns - based on experience, growing portfolios, a fun and dynamic work culture and opportunities for professional development and training.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Prepare and manage service charge budgets and year-end accounts for residential properties.
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing of service charges, working closely with property managers.
  • Reconcile service charge accounts, including variance analysis and adjustments.
  • Liaise with tenants, leaseholders, and external auditors regarding service charge queries and disputes.
  • Maintain and update financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
  • Assist in forecasting and financial planning for the residential team.


Key Requirements:


  • Experience in service charge accounting, ideally within residential property management.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant UK legislation, including the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Qube, Yardi, or similar).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
