Due to our client's recent growth, they are looking for a highly organised, diligent and personable accountant to join their dynamic team. You must have at least 5 years practice experience and be able to manage a multi-client portfolio. Ideally, you will be at least ACCA or ACA qualified or qualified by experience. They are highly client-focused and surpassing client expectations is their standard. They offer a series of guarantees to our clients such as turning accounts around within 30 days and replies to emails or phone calls within 24 hours. As such, you will share the same ethos of ensuring that clients are consistently impressed with their service and can see the value our client adds. Your duties will include: Preparation of accounts for limited companies up to £5m turnover Preparation of VAT returns and associated bookkeeping Preparation of management accounts Preparation of management reports for clients to assist in client meetings and show value added from the firm Company tax return preparation and submission Preparing summary of tax savings achieved for client and presenting in a manner to show value add Managing day-to-day client relationships from A-Z and dealing with ad hoc queries Experience of the following preferred: Iris accounts production, business tax, personal tax Sage Line 50 Xero QuickBooks You will have: Strong organisation skills to manage various clients' deadlines and compliance obligations in a timely fashion Good language skills to write effectively to clients Strong communication skills enabling you to work constructively with colleagues and clients. Have a minimum of three years’ experience in an accountancy practice AAT qualified (you may be part qualified ACA or ACCA). Achieved GCSE Maths and English at grade B or above. Eligibility to live and work in the UK. In return, they offer a salary dependent upon experience, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.
