Client Accountant - ACCA / ACA Qualified
Southampton location - Hybrid working
Salary: £40,000 - £55,000
An exciting opportunity is now available for an ACCA / ACA qualified Accountant to join a modern accountancy firm in Southampton as a Client Accountant.
Having come about through growth, this role will join the firm at an exciting time as they start to expand and continue their success. The role will offer uncapped career progression and the opportunity to manage a growing team of accountants and trainees.
Duties:
Manage a portfolio of varied limited company, sole trader, and partnership accounts.
Prepare year end and management accounts as well as the associated tax.
Be the first point of contact for all your clients, answering financial queries, and conducting account review meetings.
Independently run your client portfolio, ensuring deadlines are met and an excellent level of service is provided.
Requirements:
ACCA / ACA qualified.
Recent experience working in a similar UK based accountancy practice.
Experience preparing year end accounts, VAT returns, and corporation tax is essential.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to mentor trainees.
Experience managing junior accountants or a small team would be an advantage but not essential as training can be provided in this area.
