Job Summary and key responsibilities Key Responsibilities: To effectively manage and oversee the Bank Reconciliation processes across all client account letting functions. Ensuring any discrepancies are investigated and resolved promptly. Understanding of compliance and audit expectations to support the wider teams. Collaborative approach to acquisitions ensuring integrations are concise mitigating risks around negative balances and importing opening balances effectively. Identify potential improvements/opportunities for department and procedural processes. Identify and analyze complex transactions in critical areas of a non-finance system. Align workload across the team and ensure changes/knowledge is communicated effectively. Motivate bank rec staff with achievable SLAs ensuring that goals and priorities are set and assessed regularly. Daily tasks include: Overview of daily reconciliation of all Lettings Client Bank Accounts. Promote an inclusive, organized, and motivational environment. Ad Hoc tasks including: Reporting to Heads of teams for month end. Assisting with PWC Audit. Contributing towards Board Reports. What are we looking for: Essential: Experience in leading bank reconciliation procedures. Exceptional communication skills. Excel experience. Knowledge of Client Money Protection (CMP) Scheme. Desirable: AAT qualified or senior finance experience. Client money experience. System knowledge i.e. Lettings systems.
