Position Overview

The position of Client Development Manager is to prospect and onboard new clients. You will have responsibility for existing client communication and relationship building, managing clients on a day-to-day basis to ensure that their briefs and strategy are being met within agreed service level agreements and timescales. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will also build strong relationships with: The Technical Team The Paid Team The Content and Social Media Team The Senior Management Team The Administration and Finance Team Key Responsibilities

Developing and maintaining a strong pipeline for prospective clients, including creating and managing a prospect database. Handling new business enquiries. Building good relationships with agency partners and being active and authoritative on Social Media platforms, particularly LinkedIn. Improving and developing processes to engage with new prospective clients and partners. Assisting with organising and participating in prospect presentations and pitches when required. Driving Zelst brand values to all contacts and working closely with the team internally to ensure delivery of our brand promise. Ensuring high standards of customer service are delivered to improve client experience and aid in client retention through continual innovation. Preparing targeted, well-researched, innovative, and relevant proposals when required. Conducting competitor analysis and identifying areas of interest or concern for Zelst, offering solutions and new ideas to keep us ‘Fresh’ in the Search Marketing Sector. Developing knowledge of the benefits of Search Marketing and keeping up to date with the latest industry developments and news. Key Skills, Experience, and Attributes

Sound understanding of the agency environment and comfort with technology and social media channels. Excellent communication and rapport-building skills. Sound commercial understanding and mindset. Good understanding of written and spoken English. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint) and Google Docs. Excellent attention to detail. Eagerness to learn, develop, and progress within the role and the agency. Solid negotiation and presentation skills. Previous business development experience working in a digital agency is preferable. Place of Work

The Client Development Manager role is office-based, with the possibility of working from home when required. You will also be expected to travel to client sites and other external meetings. The role is for between 24 and 37.5 hours a week. Holiday Allowance

25 days plus bank holidays, increasing to 30 days plus bank holidays with length of service. Salary

Full-time equivalent of £30K per annum, plus a commission/bonus scheme. Benefits
