An established Accountancy practice in Leeds center, due to continued growth, is recruiting for a Client Manager who is ACCA or ACA Chartered. Reporting to and working with the Director, you will deliver a first-class service to their clients while undertaking a variety of work types including: Accounts preparation Auditing services Taxation compliance Outsourcing solutions Book-keeping Payroll Consultancy & general advice We anticipate the role to be split 80% productive (working on key client portfolios) and 20% internal (managing workflow of the whole team, managing billing and work in progress, and developing the team). Key Responsibilities: Managing a portfolio of clients comprising incorporated businesses, with experience of unincorporated businesses and individuals being advantageous. Responsibility for all compliance matters for clients – annual accounts and corporation tax returns. Personal tax planning for individuals. Maintaining WIP and managing team KPI’s. Reviewing work performed by other team members and assisting with staff training. Being the main relationship contact for clients. Promotion of the Accounts & Outsourcing team internally and externally - with clients, professional contacts, and potential clients. Planning and organising workflow within the department. Identifying cross servicing opportunities and business development. Requirements: ACCA or ACA fully qualified. Solid accounting experience obtained within practice. Knowledge of accounts preparation for incorporated and unincorporated clients. Experience working with IRIS, Xero, and Sage would be preferential, but not essential. Strong management, communication, and organisational skills. Experience of managing and controlling workflows in a practice environment. Ability to confidently work alone but also be a team player. Excellent time management. Ability to work under pressure, to deadlines, and respond promptly to requests. Proficiency in Outlook and Word. Experience in Microsoft Excel to an advanced level.
