Job Advert: Client Manager / Associate Director – Leading Accountancy Firm
Are you an experienced and driven Client Manager or Associate Director seeking an exciting opportunity to lead and manage a significant client portfolio with the potential to progress to Director level? If so, we have the perfect role for you!
About the Role:
This Brierley Hill based accountancy firm are looking for a talented individual to take responsibility for managing a portfolio worth approximately £400k in fees, consisting of:
•Year-end accounts preparation
•Some involvement in audit (although this can be reassigned if preferred)
•Providing clients with comprehensive accounting and tax advice
•Supporting on transactional work, M&A, and Due Diligence alongside the lead Director
This role is highly client-focused and will see you acting as a trusted advisor, helping clients navigate their financial challenges while ensuring the highest level of service is maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
•Managing a diverse client base, ensuring all deadlines are met and client satisfaction remains high
•Offering expert advice on tax and accounting matters
•Leading on transactional work, including mergers, acquisitions, and due diligence
•Overseeing and mentoring junior team members
•Identifying new business opportunities and contributing to the firm’s growth strategy
What We’re Looking For:
•Proven client management experience within an accountancy practice
•A track record of delivering excellent service to a range of clients
•Strong technical knowledge in accounting, tax, and advisory work
•Commercially minded with the ability to spot new opportunities
•Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
