Compliance team, Bournemouth, Full time, Competitive Package As a Client Onboarding Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and seamless onboarding process for our clients. You will work closely with our Senior Client Onboarding Administrator and cross-functional teams to gather and organise client information, facilitate file opening, and ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and efficiently. You will also play a vital role in supporting our AML efforts by assisting in the identification, prevention, and mitigation of risks associated with money laundering and financial crimes. Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Senior Client Onboarding Administrator to collect and review client information, verifying its accuracy and completeness. Liaise with various internal departments to coordinate the onboarding process, including file opening and ensuring the correct level of due diligence has been carried out. Provide timely and clear communication to clients or teams regarding the status of their onboarding and the risks posed by certain clients/work types as necessary. Address client enquiries and concerns, escalating complex issues to the appropriate team members. Maintain organised and up-to-date records of client onboarding activities. Continuously identify opportunities to improve the onboarding process and suggest enhancements. Assist with reviews of customer profiles and transactions to identify potential suspicious activities. Assist in the investigation of alerts and cases related to suspicious transactions, conducting necessary research and analysis. What we’re looking for:

The ideal candidate will preferably be educated to A-level or equivalent, but anyone with relevant experience will be considered. Previous professional services/law firm experience is advantageous but not essential. You must have the ability to learn new IT systems, internal processes, and procedures and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office. Good interpersonal skills. Excellent time management and client care skills, with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines. You must be process driven and analytical with a pragmatic approach to finding solutions that are consistent with LA’s values and way of thinking. You should be professional and credible, with the ability to act with tact and discretion and to maintain confidentiality.
