About Baringa: We set out to build the world’s most trusted consulting firm – creating lasting impact for clients and pioneering a positive, people-first way of working. We work with everyone from FTSE 100 names to bright new start-ups, in every sector.

You’ll find us collaborating shoulder-to-shoulder with our clients, from the big picture right down to the detail: helping them define their strategy, deliver complex change, spot the right commercial opportunities, manage risk, or bring their purpose and sustainability goals to life. Our clients love how we get to know what makes their organisations tick – slotting seamlessly into their teams and being proudly geeky about solving their challenges.

As a Certified B Corporation, we've proven that we've built social and environmental good into every bit of what we do.

We have hubs in Europe, the US, Asia and Australia, and we work all around the world - from a wind farm in Wyoming to a boardroom in Berlin. Find us wherever there's a challenge to be tackled and an impact to be made.

Our Power & Low Carbon Solutions practice are looking for an experienced Product Client Success Manager to join the team.

This role is responsible for everything from onboarding new clients, training them on how to get the most from our products, to liaising with the products team with feedback and improvement recommendations. You will be the key point of contact for our clients, they will come to you with questions about the products, the data behind it, requests to speak with the Consultants for bespoke projects, and more. This role is essential for enabling our clients to have a positive experience with Baringa.

This is the first role of its kind in our PLCS team, meaning the ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial mindset, and the drive to grow this area, putting new structures and strategies in place. A good technical understanding of the power markets, and the ability to communicate this and market forecasting to clients is essential. This role is at the intersection of our clients, the PLCS team, and our product developers, so adaptability and teamwork are key.

What you will be doing

You’ll be the one clear Baringa point of contact for clients. As soon as a sale is completed, you’ll get involved in contracts, licences, providing logins & a demo of how to make the most of the product. You promote the integration of PLCS products into the client’s operations. You will proactively monitor and report on the health of client accounts, anticipating and solving issues before escalation. You’ll connect clients to Consultants, facilitating cross-selling opportunities. You will build positive relationships with clients, ensuring renewals when subscription terms end. You will work closely with Marketing and Sales to help promote the product. You are responsible for understanding clients’ use cases, and gathering feedback and testimonies to relay to the appropriate teams. You will launch and create a client community. You will develop and own the user journey.

Your skills and experience Experience at a consulting or tech firm, energy company, financial services company, or other knowledge-driven firm or institution. Interested in and with good understanding of power markets. Capable of interacting with clients, providing client satisfaction. Organisation and communication skills are crucial. This role requires someone who can explain complex topics to technically and non-technically minded individuals, across different seniority levels. Experience building something from scratch: a team/a strategy. Power markets modelling experience. Good understanding of, and experience working with products.
