ALS Limited is hiring a Climate Change Mitigation Specialist for its Global Sustainability Team in Coventry, UK. The role involves identifying climate-related risks, developing sustainability strategies, conducting ROI assessments, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Candidates should have 2-5 years of experience in emissions quantification and risk strategies, with TCFD reporting experience preferred. This is a full-time position.

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Climate Change Mitigation Specialist to join our Global Sustainability Team at ALS Limited. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating climate-related risks, developing strategic plans, and providing actionable recommendations on climate change.

Your main responsibilities will include leading and supporting sustainability strategies by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting sustainability data. You will also strengthen organizational resilience to climate change by conducting ROI assessments and risk analyses, driving initiatives on climate change disclosures, transition planning, and gap analysis to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.

Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability into business objectives, perform value chain financial risk analysis, and provide expert advice on risk mitigation strategies. Your strong analytical and research skills, combined with your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, will enable you to work effectively across diverse teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sustainability strategies that reduce climate-related risks and improve organizational resilience. Conduct ROI assessments and risk analyses to identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability into business objectives. Perform value chain financial risk analysis and provide expert advice on risk mitigation strategies.

Requirements:

2–5 years' experience in emissions quantification, risk mitigation, and decarbonization strategies. Demonstrated expertise in advising businesses on climate-related risks, opportunities, and compliance. Advantageous to have demonstrated ability in TCFD reporting.
