As a Climate Risk & Reporting Senior Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in assisting our clients in identifying, assessing, and managing climate-related risks and opportunities. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding organisations toward climate resilience and ensuring compliance with emerging regulations. We would love to hear from you if you have the following competencies and experience: Knowledge of climate change science, scenarios, and methodologies for assessing climate-related risks and opportunities. Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering climate-related strategy and reporting projects within a consultancy or client-facing environment. Ability to establish and maintain strong client relationships, with a focus on delivering value and building long-term partnerships. Extensive understanding of climate-related reporting standards and frameworks (CDP, TCFD, TPT, IFRS S2), challenges, and emerging trends, with a particular focus on climate-related issues such as risk management, scenario analysis, and climate transition planning. Experience in leading stakeholder engagement activities to gather insights and prioritise climate risks and opportunities. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental management, sustainability, or a related field. We are looking for someone with the following skills and behaviours: Analytical abilities to assess climate data, identify trends, and quantify risks and opportunities. Good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create clear and actionable reports for a range of stakeholders. Stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to influence and present effectively, to align clients on the importance of climate-related risks. Experience in project management, including the ability to manage, coordinate, and prioritise activities to ensure delivery of deliverables on time and budget. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, providing support to colleagues and contributing to team success. Comfortable managing a variety of tasks in a fast-paced operational environment while maintaining a high standard of quality. Your main responsibilities would be: Lead climate-related reporting projects, building and maintaining strong client relationships through regular communication and support. Develop comprehensive climate risk assessment strategies tailored to each client's unique needs. Lead stakeholder engagement exercises, including conducting interviews, surveys, and workshops to gather insights and prioritise climate risks and opportunities effectively. Oversee the analysis of climate data, identifying trends, quantifying risks, and evaluating opportunities. Create climate risk assessment reports that provide actionable insights and recommendations for clients, ensuring alignment with climate disclosure standards and regulatory frameworks. Stay up to date with evolving climate-related regulations and industry best practices. Contribute to the development of client proposals and bids, identifying opportunities for future work and supporting business growth.
