To analyse and interpret clinical information and medical evidence and provide a report in a professional and concise manner. To work to agreed standards/targets and respond positively to feedback. Work well as part of a multidisciplinary team and build positive working relationships with both medical colleagues and administrative support staff. To undertake recorded and video assessments where required. Have highly developed communication skills and be able to respond to a rapidly changing work environment. To work unsupervised and use own initiative, knowing limitations and asking for support where necessary. Qualifications, Experience & Skills Required:
Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Physiotherapist, Paramedic, or Occupational Therapist with current PIN and a minimum of one year post-registration experience. Previous experience of disability assessment/clinical decision making e.g., A & E or NHS Direct is desirable. Ability to multi-task, demonstrating that you are able to listen, type, and talk at the same time while controlling the assessment. Strong IT skills with experience of using a range of software. Highly developed written and verbal communication skills. Evidence of responding to unexpected changes by adopting a flexible approach to work. Evidence of ongoing professional development.
