Clinical Assistant

into the team,

to work alongside the Radiography Department

in MRI, CT and X-ray. Are you passionate about joining a brand-new Centre that is allowing healthcare to be more accessible to the local community, while working towards the mission to make healthcare better? This could be the job for you! What will you do:

As a clinical assistant supporting the Radiography department, the core of your role is to ensure our patients receive the best standard of care from arrival through to departure. The Clinical Assistant is primarily responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the working day by welcoming patients into the clinical area and preparing them for their scan. You will also be required to complete some administrative tasks within the department and support in Reception as needed. Welcoming patients in a professional, courteous manner, coordinating their arrival through to departure Escorting patients to and from the clinical area as required, explaining the procedure in full and ensuring any questions or concerns are managed professionally Completing the patient's pre-scan data protection/consent form and health and safety questionnaire (where applicable) Assessing and monitoring the patient's condition after the procedure, ensuring that any changes are reported to the relevant staff immediately Accurately entering all relevant patient data into the patient management system Managing administrative tasks within the department as required. Working on the reception desk, professionally welcoming patients into the Centre We are looking for someone who has:

Experience in a healthcare environment or a passion to work in healthcare Experience working in a customer-facing role Strong administration skills Flexibility in working patterns An empathetic and caring approach A passion for delivering the highest level of customer service Experience working in a fast-paced environment What's in it for you
