We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated, qualified Clinical Associate in Psychology (CAP) to join our friendly and well-established Community Adult Eating Disorder Service south team. You will be working alongside Clinical and Counselling Psychologists, psychological therapists and Assistant Psychologists as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT). Main duties of the job

Applications are invited for the Band 6 Clinical Associate in Psychology who trained working with adults with mental problems, preferably in community settings.

Experience of working with eating disorders is preferable.

CAPs are able to practice autonomously with appropriate support, working within their scope of practice, under the supervision of a qualified psychologist practitioner. Person specification

Education/Qualifications

Masters Clinical Associate in Psychology qualification. Eligibility for registration on the BPS Wider Psychological Workforce register as an Associate Psychologist. Knowledge

Masters level knowledge of psychological theory and research, including psychological assessment, formulation, intervention and evaluation. Masters level knowledge of mental health presentations, within adult mental health services. Skills/Experience

Relevant supervised experience of delivering psychological assessments and interventions in adult mental health and community services. Experience of working in a setting with service users presenting with severe and enduring mental health difficulties. Experience of working within a multidisciplinary team. Full driving licence and car available for work purposes. Please note:
