Clinical Coder
to join our client in
Nottingham. Successful candidates will be responsible for accurately translating clinical information from patient records into standardised codes for diagnoses, procedures, and treatments. Role Responsibilities: Review patient charts and medical records to assign accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes for diagnoses, procedures, and treatments performed during inpatient and outpatient stays. Ensure the correct application of coding standards, such as ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and CPT, as per current guidelines. Assist the billing department by providing correct and timely coding for insurance claims, ensuring that diagnoses and procedures align with the payer's requirements. Monitor and track key performance indicators related to coding accuracy and turnaround time. Essential Requirements: Must have hospital experience. ACC qualification.
