Clinical Deputy Manager Halesowen GBP41,864 My client is one of the leading healthcare providers in the UK. They are now looking for an experienced Deputy Care Home Manager to join their team, helping to run a 24-bedded home in Halesowen, West Midlands, which provides nursing care services for individuals with various needs, including physical disabilities and dementia. The Deputy Home Manager role will include: Helping to manage the home on a day-to-day basis Playing an important part in developing and implementing evidence-based individualised care packages, therapeutic interventions, and individualised activity programmes Leading and supervising the support and nursing teams to deliver the highest standards of person-centred care using clinical governance and their own personal development Responsibility for health and safety, to ensure the safety of service users and colleagues Supporting the Service Manager to achieve culture change and build and sustain employee engagement In the absence of the Service Manager, providing robust leadership within the service and escalating, without delay, issues which require more senior support For this role, you must have: UK NMC Registration as an RGN/RMN Previous experience as a Deputy Manager or Senior Nurse A good working knowledge of CQC standards and the Health and Social Care Act Familiarity with sickness management, staff training and development, coaching, and mentoring The ability to communicate and engage effectively with service users, their families, and colleagues Benefits for their staff include: Excellent training and future promotional opportunities 35 days annual leave NMC registration paid for Individualised professional development programmes Paid DBS check
